What I liked

I really loved the fellow interns I met throughout the process of interning here. Each day we were assigned to a new employee to shadow and help them out with anything which I liked so we could see different parts of the company. It was also cool to work at the events in the White Fox Boutique showroom and style outfits for certain micro-celebrities.

What I wish was different

While I really liked the interns I met along the way, the company hired way too many of us and it felt like each day I was meeting 20 more interns. Because we far outnumbered the actual staff, it was really hard to make a genuine connection with the employees and feel connected to the company. I also feel like the internship could be more structured and we could have been assigned a final internship project. Overall, I feel like I was mostly just given busy work such as adding influencers to spreadsheets, etc. so I couldn't really learn that much about PR.

Advice

For future interns, I would say to try to make connections with fellow interns and an employee early on. Most of the employees are relatively young and I would try your best to make a connection with one of them.
