The supervisors play a very hands off role. It isn’t for everyone.

What I liked
I enjoyed learning many different laboratory processes and techniques in a corporate lab setting. I also liked my coworkers and the environment where I worked.
What I wish was different
Due to the high amount of work that needed to be done this summer, my experiences were limited to certain areas of the lab. This is not something that could have been changed, just an unfortunate occurrence.
Advice
Prepare for multitasking and be able to communicate effectively and clearly. Do not be afraid to ask questions, but be confident in your ability to complete the task at hand. It can be a tough job at some points, but is overall rewarding.
