Great coworkers and bosses. A very relaxed atmosphere, even during rushes. The managers had realistic expectations for us. Interacting with customers was fun.
What I wish was different
The steak kitchen would flood every weekend, and though attempts were made to fix it, it did not get fixed before the summer ended.
Advice
If you’re going to work the steak grill, get goggles. It’ll save your eyes when you’re working over a smoking grill or when you have to shake the seasoning on the steaks. I got a leather pair from one of the shops at the festival.
