I enjoyed the autonomy this position offered. I was able to complete research that I found interesting, and learned a lot about the criminal justice system as well as research and data skills.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had learned more about data analytics, but I only went 2 days a week so I wasn’t able to completely immerse myself in the job.
Advice
I would recommend that if you want to do something, ask! My supervisor was very responsive to my needs, and I was able to go on a tour of a maximum security prison which was very cool!

What I liked
I got a little taste of everything in the office I worked in and I also got the chance to tour numerous prisons. Everyone in the office I worked in was so nice and always so willing to help me.
What I wish was different
I honestly loved everything and wouldn't change anything.
Advice
Be open to new things, even if you're not comfortable with it and just be yourself and enjoy the internship.
