About Community Impact: America Reads

America Reads is a program sponsored by Community Impact at Columbia University. The goal of our program is to provide exception tutors and teaching assistants in inner-city elementary school classrooms, to support the academic progress of at-risk students.

The goal is to help as many students as possible and to just allow the students to feel welcomed and happy with school.
