“I loved that I got to work alongside the County as well as understanding the Public Education Program and its mission. I enjoyed the fact that I got to network with many people who have different positions within the County. The diversity of career opportunities was also another thing I enjoyed learning about because it made me realize how big the County of Orange is. I also saw the challenges that the OC environmental resources go through when achivering progress. Finally, I enjoyed promoting environmental stewardship through programs like OCWEAP and H2OC. ”

“I helped throughout the Water Resources Department, so I got to see more field-related work and office-related work. I went to Environmental Task Force Meetings, safety meetings, and City meetings. ”
