CMT offered a wide range of experiences for a civil engineering intern both in the office and in the field. The other employees and my supervisor were helpful when they were available. My work at their office interested me in looking into transportation engineering as a field after college.
What I wish was different
Due to COVID, there was there were few employees to interact with at the beginning of summer in the office. I wish there could have been more coordination for activities that were socially distanced.
Advice
Never be afraid to ask questions and try to develop connections with your colleagues and supervisor. Those connections will be helpful in looking for a job in the future.
