Working directly with kids and learning more about their behaviors and how to handle them.

What I wish was different

Not getting bit by a 14 year old girl or having to deal with defiance.

Advice

Direct care is great experience for anything in behavioral sciences. It is hard work but it's so great once you see your kid's progress.
