I love writing passages for kids in different genres such as poetry, drama and fiction. I like that I have the freedom to work from home, the library or a coffee shop.
What I wish was different
I wish there weren't so many rules about what you can and can't write about. There are a lot of sensitivity biases, a lot of which make sense, but some don't such as the fact that you can't write about birthdays.
Advice
Freelancing is great because you get to make your own hours, but that also means you have to be really good at managing yourself and managing your time. There's no one there telling you what you have to do and making sure you turn things in on time. It's solely up to you to stay focused, not goof off and do great work.

What I liked
The work was easy to handle and the starting pay was good. Lots of overtime, meaning more income.

Wanted the season to last longer.
Advice
Prepare to work 80 hours a week and prepare to work efficiently and effectively.
