What I liked

It was really flexible, and a lot of other young people work there which is really cool. I had a lot of independence in choosing how I was going to carry out my projects, and ended up learning many new skills along the way.

What I wish was different

What I ended up doing was really different than what the job posting description had said, which I was a little disappointed about, but it ended up being fine.

Advice

Even though the auto industry is male-dominated, Dealer.com is definitely trying to change that, so women shouldn't be afraid to apply! (Even if you know nothing about dealerships or dealer websites-- I didn't either until I worked there.)

What I liked

I learned a ton and most importantly learned how to adapt to all different sorts of situations.

What I wish was different

There isn't anything that I wished was different. I had a great experience.

Advice

Learn and take advantage of all of the resources that are available. Going into this experience I didn't have any prior experience, but I took advantage of just about everything that I could. Every time I was offered to shadow or sit in on a meeting, I did it. By doing this, I was exposed to a lot of different things.
