What I liked

I enjoyed the responsibility and autonomy I was given as an intern. The internship was remote, so I was given my tasks for the week at weekly check-ins. I was given the guidance and resources needed to succeed, but was given the freedom to take initiative and get things done in the ways I saw fit.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had been able to come to the office and bounce ideas off of people in-person.

Advice

I would say that you get out what you put into an internship. Additionally, don't be afraid to venture into industries you haven't considered before. I have always been interested in marketing, but never saw myself working in commercial truck servicing. However, I enjoyed learning about a subject that I might never have encountered otherwise and the things I learned have been applicable in many aspects of my life since.
