Deer Creek is a Pre-K - 12th Grade Public School District serving over 8000 students located west of Edmond and North of Oklahoma City. Deer Creek is one of the fastest growing school districts in the State of Oklahoma. Technology is emphasized in Deer Creek and every teacher receives a MacBook and iPad to assist with instruction along with many other tools such as Apple TV's, Smartboards in every classroom, and multiple iPad and Laptop carts for student use. Every 7th-12th grade student receives a chromebook. Every PK-6th grade student has 1:1 access to an iPad. Deer Creek provides multiple tiers of support for our staff and students. Deer Creek provided weekly embedded and protected time for staff to collaborate along with several Remote Learning Days. Deer Creek is a Marzano and High Reliability district with focus on student achievement and student and teacher growth.
