I had a lot of opportunities to see the varying stages of production. I went on a shoot with Oxygen because Def6 was their production company, same with Sesame Street. I worked on projects for Nickelodeon, and I worked on the sound mix for Big Mouth on Netflix. I also had time to practice and work on my own skills.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more assignments.
Advice
Ask to be involved! Sit in on meetings, play with effects, work with the editors on their projects!
