What I liked

I developed technical skills in data entry and data management, as well as increased proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. The job was very hands-on and I was in charge of e-commerce (billing and returns for company), licensing, scanning, and other office duties.

What I wish was different

I wish the job had involved more interpersonal interactions. I did not work with customers or fellow co-workers much, and mostly completed my daily tasks on my own. Also, I did not enjoy sitting at a desk and computer screen all day. Sometimes the work environment felt uncomfortable, because some colleagues acted unprofessional.

Advice

I would tell others to be patient with themselves and go slow; the data entry position requires a high attention to detail, and there's definitely a learning curve. You might not get everything right the first time, but it's okay and you'll improve with time and practice :)
