I really loved the company. The company is small, and the culture is amazing. I learned about engineering, leadership, and some of what I want to do in my future career. They prepared me well for my job.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have done more work as an intern. I did a lot of training, but I was not able to do much that helped the company. I did some by the end of the summer, but it took a while.
Advice
Be diligent in looking for internship, even if it feels too late. I found this a couple weeks before school ended. It was a job I don't want to do as a career, but the experience was so valuable for me. I learned so much about myself.

Engineering Intern
May - August 2019 • Fayetteville, AR
What I liked
The company really cares about their staff and interns. They went out of their way to make sure we were being equipped for our future careers which involved weekly leadership training.
What I wish was different
I ended up working through what was given me faster than they could supply it to me. As a result there were some lulls, but that wasn't too bad.
Advice
Don't deny an internship just because it is a small company. DWAV has a staff of 9, but it was still an amazing experience to work with them.
