“I chose DNV because the company's values aligned with my own and it gave me a chance to get experience in data science as well as the energy industry. I've learned so much at DNV, not only through my team-specific projects, but also through intern gatherings, new-hire presentations, informational seminars, coffee chats with subject matter experts, and many of the other opportunities DNV has provided me with. Another great aspect of the internship was the integration of interns with the rest of the employees. The data science interns were onboarded to projects and given tasks that a full-time employee might typically do. I was very happy that the team trusted us with difficult tasks because it enabled me to learn way more than I expected. The employees at DNV also share a unique moral compass of environmentalism, which seems to be the main driver for everyone to perform their best. Most people at DNV are very passionate about decarbonization and the move toward the carbon-free electric grid, which was really inspiring to see as an intern. ”
