Door County Medical Center, a critical access facility in northeast Wisconsin, has served the health care needs of the Sturgeon Bay/Door County area since 1943. The medical center offers a full range of acute care services and specialties, as well as a skilled nursing facility for long-term care and rehabilitation services. Three-fourths of the organization’s business is comprised of clinical and outpatient services and reaches out to locations throughout Door County and northern Kewaunee County. Key services and facilities include cardiac rehabilitation, a cancer/radiation oncology treatment center, comprehensive diagnostics, physical, occupational and speech therapy centers, respiratory care/rehab/sleep disorders center, a new outpatient surgical center, emergency/urgent care services and new units for medical/surgical care, ICU and the birthing center.
