Douglas County Fair Intern

What I liked

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I got to spend my summer working with amazing people who were willing to let me take a lead. Over the summer, I worked to add a vendor show to the fair, book performers and entertainment, and make the fair an overall success. I was really able to take ownership in my work and guide what I wanted to get out of the experience.

What I wish was different

Advice

Go into this position with an open mind and good attitude. You will get out what you put in. If you are willing to work hard and challenge yourself, you will have an unforgettable experience.
