What I liked

I was a project manager for the summer which provided me with a unique opportunity to work on multiple accounts across the agency, meet a ton of people, and learn different strategies of different brands. I was able to learn a lot more in this role than I would have in others because I was able to participate in multiple parts of projects as the project manager.

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to get more hands on experience, because as project manager, I did a lot of overseeing, and watching people work. I collaborated with others, but I wasn't assigned a specific tasks, so I was watching as others did theirs, and then I provided assistance in multiple areas.

Advice

When in a large agency or business meet as many people as you possibly can. Pick all their brains and learn from everybody. These conversations also make you memorable, and can help you possibly return to the company later.
