Apply EARLY. Vidant takes an extremely long time to process volunteering applications. It took almost 3 months from the time I applied until I started volunteering.

Being able to interact with all different types of patients and meeting different types of healthcare professionals.

Being able to move to different locations more.
Advice
Get as many hours in as you can during the summer because once school starts it can be really hard to schedule!
