What I liked

Zag Labs was a great place to work. Everyone was friendly and goal oriented. When I had first started working, I did not have much experience in research. After a few weeks, I saw great improvements. The environment promoted growth both professionally and technically.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had gotten this opportunity to intern when I was a freshman at school. Zag labs has given me the tools to work proficiently in research and development, while also giving me the confidence to further my education in this field.

Advice

One piece of advice I would give is to work hard and try new things, you never know what you may be good at until you give it a try. I cannot thank Zag Labs and Zach Keck enough for this opportunity and I hope other people get to share this experience with me.

What I liked

I enjoyed the freedom/creative liberties I was given as an intern. It is not easy to find opportunities like this when starting with little experience. I was given the guidance I needed while maintaining the ability to test my own ideas and learn through trial and error. It felt good to see my work being used and see the contributions I was making to the company.

What I wish was different

I wish I had applied earlier in my school career so I could have invested more time. I was limited due to my course load in the amount of time I could invest and feel I could have had more opportunities if I had started earlier.
