The other employees were fun to work with and there were a lot of international students on an exchange work program for the summer that I was able to meet. The managers were friendly and accommodating and you are rewarded for good performance.

Rides operator
May - August 2018 • Denver, CO
What I liked
I worked with a diverse group of people both native to Colorado and from places around the world like Jamaica, Russia, and Ireland.
What I wish was different
Because you have to be trained on each individual ride before you may operate it, most people only knew how to work 1-3 rides and therefore got stuck working those same ones day after day, which got tedious quickly.
Advice
This goes for all jobs, but especially something with such heavy interaction with guests - the job can be very fun or very boring, it’s all what you make of it.
