What I liked
They train you in a variety of stations, including customer service, the register, food handling and usher duties, in a short period of time. Supportive environment and got to work with a large age range of customers. Good first job experience.
What I wish was different
Better perks like 2 free tickets for a showing during the summer and better employee discounts.
Advice
Be patient. If you have an issue with a customer interaction, speak with staff and they'll help you handle it and prepare you for the future.

What I liked
Job was fun sometimes, the pay was good, and some co-workers were great
What I wish was different
Some managers ranged from overly strict to not caring at all, hours were really short or way too long, some jobs there were just straight up unnecessary and bad, communication with managers on what to do was very difficult, a lot of co-works were just awful
Advice
Being a movie theater usher is a great starting position if your looking for your first job or something more casual but make sure to stand up for yourself and let your complaints be heard so things can hopefully be handled better

I wasn't scheduled nearly as much as i would have liked, especially during my last couple of weeks.
Advice
Be ready to work lots of weekends and nights, the weekdays are very slow.

What I liked
I got to build a really close friendship with many of my coworkers and work in an environment that I found to be interesting and exciting.
What I wish was different
I wish that the uniforms were different because I personally found them to be uncomfortable, but it wasn't anything that would make or break my decision to work here.
Advice
Make an effort to get to know your coworkers. Shifts are much more fun when you are able to have conversations during down time and you are able to close much more quickly when you can communicate well and freely with the other people at your station.
