What I liked
The internship was a perfect blend of my interests - Finance, Strategy, and Analytics, and made for an excellent experience for numerous reasons. The team engaged me in multiple projects early in the internship, including M&A, investor search, earnings presentations prep, data analytics, etc. The diverse client base Embarc works with meant exposure to various industries ranging from fitness to music and others. The team actively involved me in client calls, encouraged participation, sought and valued my opinion. Simultaneous engagements on multiple projects ensured that each day was exciting and dynamic. As a result, I broadened my knowledge about Finance and Strategy and developed relationships with the top management at client companies during the internship. Furthermore, the team works fully remote, giving employees the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Lastly, Embarc organizes quarterly gatherings at different locations for employees to connect, have fun, enjoy quality time together, and celebrate the success achieved in the previous quarter.
