What I wish was different
Various members of management had promised me at the start of the internship that if I worked 2 years or more at Emerson it was customary for the company to make me a return offer on my final day. Despite the high praise from my manager and department head, they failed to tell me anything definitive about return offers, due to budget cuts within the company. I would probably not go back to Emerson due to that empty promise.

I wish I would’ve asked more questions regarding my project instead of stressing myself out. I did end up asking questions as I got more comfortable in my project.
