It was an amazing experience. They helped me learn so much about the law and let me write legal documents and actually practice law! It was a positive and supportive environment as well.

What I liked
I learned a lot every single day I went in to work. What I was doing was also high-impact and I was able to interact with clients and get to know one of the most brilliant advocates of civil rights at the firm.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the time to work more hours.
Advice
Get your foot in the door and put yourself out there. I was heinously under-qualified for this internship but they gave me an interview and demonstrated my ability to problems solve and think critically. I'm an engineering student who interned at a law firm. That's wild.
