What I liked

Indeed my experience at Empower Health Services as Technical Intern is invaluable. I was welcomed with open arms and made me comfortable like an integral part of the organization with supportive and inclusive work environment frosted my professional and personal growth at my very first professional job experience here in The USA. Working as an intern I was not just able to gain knowledge but also to share some with my team and colleagues. This internship allowed me to gain hands on experience working with cloud technologies and live projects which was challenging yet exciting. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for providing me with this incredible opportunity which definitely adds value to my professional career.

Technical Intern

What I liked

This was my first internship in college, so I was pretty overwhelmed and nervous going into it, but, over time, I started to really like my team. The members of my team really took time to slowly acclimate me to the numerous technologies and tools that they use. It took me a while to learn, but they were really patient and took time to slowly explain things, which was really helpful. In addition, I think they understood the limitations that I had, since I had only completed my freshman year of college, so they gave me tasks that they knew I would be able to complete and were not out of the scopes of my skill level. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to others.

What I wish was different

Honestly, I'm not sure if I wish anything had been different. I feel like my experience here was very good.

Advice

Take time to understand and learn from the team. Although it may seem very overwhelming at first, the team helps to slowly teach you things and, over time, you have no issues working as an intern in the office.
