I enjoyed the freedom associated with the project at hand. The team support was also nice because everyone was so supportive and interested in the outcome of the review paper.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had more guidance from my supervisor. The internship was remote and we met weekly, but I felt as though I needed to be given small tasks to properly tackle what my supervisor had in mind.
Advice
I would advise anyone interested in research methods to pursue this internship. Since there was so much freedom, I learned how to effectively research, although it was through trial and tribulation.
