I loved the program that they ran for the LGBTQ+ youth! I also loved the team that I worked with! Everyone played an important part that helped the program run as smoothly as it did.
What I wish was different
I don't really wish for anything different, although it would have been nice if there was a tiny bit of financial compensation. But even then, I would've still done it all for zero pay. That's how great the experience was!
Advice
If you choose this internship, really dive in and get to know the people in the program. They will change your life!

What I liked
I facilitate a young adult group. It is an incredible experience communicating with LGBT+ youth of all types and learning from them and participating in a therapeutic process.
What I wish was different
I wish I could spend more time there throughout the week. That facility is incredible!
Advice
Put your heart into the service and you will get much more back. The impact that you make one the community, through small ways, has the potential to be life saving.
