What I liked
I loved my experience in Spain overall. Specifically about the internship, I loved the team of people I worked with. Since it was an office of approximately 10 people, the office was close and each employee took the time to get to know me. I have fond memories of lunches, coffees, company dinners and bbqs. It was quite hard to leave them in July. I loved my supervisor who let me construct my own projects and trusted me to finish my tasks, however, she also made me feel comfortable around her and encouraged me asking her questions about the company. This was a huge help as I asked her anything and everything I wanted clarification on and I learnt so much as a result! I went to many conferences with up and coming entrepreneurs and had the chance to interact with them (in spanish and english) and learn from them which was amazing. I learn about various problems in companies, management issues, hostile takeovers and entrepreneur exits to name a few topics.
