I really enjoyed being so involved in the preconstruction phase of so many big projects. It has been a great learning experience and is preparing me for a successful career.
What I wish was different
I wish their had been more training initially. I feel like at the beginning there was a lot of learning from mistakes because of the lack of training. A lot of those mistakes could have been avoided if they had a better training program.
Advice
Asking questions and trying to learn as much as possible has enabled me to surpass many other employees who have worked their for much longer than me. I think this applies to any job. If you focus your efforts on learning how to do things efficiently and effectively your employers will give you a much better valuation and you are more likely to receive bonuses or pay increases than those who just do the minimum.

What I liked
Working at ES2 has been great. I am learning a lot and I get to work with awesome people. My favorite thing is how people are always wiling to help you with what you need. They work with several disciplines within engineering, so I had the chance to learn about several different topics.
