It gave me a good idea of the type of simple tasks I’ll be doing as a nurse when I finally start my career after college. I enjoy the work environment and my coworkers are amazing.

If you have the opportunity to take a job that’s related to your future career field, do it! It’ll let you get an idea of what you’re getting yourself into and if it’s something you like. You’ll get lots of experience too.

What I liked
I liked working with the elderly, they were really interesting people.
What I wish was different
I wish my coworkers did their jobs so the responsibilities didn’t get put on my shoulders. I also wish my boss was more communicative and polite.
Advice
A lot of the people that are working at Assisted Living Homes do not care about their jobs in the slightest, they’re just there to make an easy buck, so make sure you go above and beyond to stand out.
