What I wish was different
Because I was a research intern, I didn't interact with a lot of software. However, I did have the opportunity to contribute to sociopolitical aspects of architecture.
Advice
Do not be afraid to network and connect with others in office, locally, and other disciplines. This really enriches the experience. Also, try to arrange housing in advance because it is really difficult to find affordable housing in NYC.
