I loved the company culture at Ensemble. Everyone I worked with was always willing to stop what they were doing to help me. I also really enjoyed working in the healthcare finance industry, it was really interesting to see first hand how hospitals earn revenue. Being able to work with other interns every single day as opposed to being on my own really enhanced my learning experience as well.
What I wish was different
I wish the recruiting process would have been a little bit smoother, but to be fair it is a relatively new company and this was their first time having interns.
Advice
One piece of advice would be to not get discouraged during this internship. Revenue cycle is a very challenging business and therefore just try and soak up all the information that you possibly can. Ask plenty of questions and remember that your supervisors and mentors are there to help you.
