I had an amazing at Entercom Radio. With my future interest in sales and marketing, this internship position was a great first step towards my goal in that industry. The staff was extremely helpful and eager for all there interns to learn as much as they could. With my independent study at UB that was correlated with my internship, made me learn about myself and the work that much more. I am thankful to have gotten the experience to intern for Entercom Radio. What I liked best is getting to interact with thousands of people at the concerts and events. We were able to meet with clients and help with the events to make sure they are spectacular.
What I wish was different
In my opinion, I wish that Entercom Radio was a paid position due to the amount of work me and the other interns had to do. Even though it was not paid, I am still extremely grateful I got the opportunity to work with such an amazing company and team. I learned so much in a professional setting through Entercom and I would not of asked for anything else different.
Advice
One piece of advice I would like to share about my experience with Entercom Radio is how beneficial it is for students preparing to work right after college. The amount of information I learned in the sales and marketing industry that this company showed me, was amazing. I encourage every college sutdent to get an internship in their career of interest in hopes they get the necessary experience for their future occupation. It gives you real life experiences what you would do in that position and you also build connections.
