To begin, this company made me feel at home. I was welcomed the first day and was encouraged to ask questions if I was having trouble learning or understanding the work that was being done. I was able to make friends during my stay at this job in the summer and I still talk to them, even not being there. Having made connections was a great experience. I also liked being moved around the job and learning new techniques and positions. Overall, this job did a great job taking care of me and teaching me the material that was to be taught.
What I wish was different
One thing that I was had been different was maybe moving into the office for some time to understand the work that is also being done in the office. I was able to move around from crossings to bidi which was an amazing switch and I was able to learn both positions during my stay at ACP.
Advice
This job will definitely be challenging if you haven't done much labor in the past. This company will challenge your body physically, heavy-lifting, and heat, etc. Overall it was a great job and I left in the best shape I could've possible left in.
