What I liked

I have been exposed to most all HR functions. Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, Staffing, Training, etc. This breadth of experience has opened my eyes to the possibilities in the HR world and helped me to recognize what aspects of HR aren't my favorite

What I wish was different

I wish that I would have been given access to more resources in some of my projects. I often felt like a lack of resources held my projects back from being as successful as I had hoped they would be.

Advice

Go in with the expectation of doing a lot of different things. You won't ever do the same thing two days in a row and you need to be good at organizing yourself and your processes so you can have consistent results and not forget about simple things that need to be done on a regular basis.
