I liked the hours and environment. The people there were very accommodating to my schedule of being in school and being able to work at any point whenever I came home for a weekend. I was able to work the morning shift with roughly 30 other men and I was a great teamwork and leadership experience.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish that would be different, is the temperature on the dock. I know it is a bit unrealistic considering that it is a dock with 200 plus semi-truck doors. But heaters and fans at various places could go a long way when it comes to worker comfortability.
Advice
To work here you need to have a high work ethic and be willing to listen and lead at any point. Whether it comes to stripping or loading a trailer, you must be alert at all times and communicate to all around you so that no one gets injured.
