It would have been helpful to have more consistency from management.

It can be a lot of information at first, but as the job goes on you will build awesome relationships with both guests and your coworkers. Be confident and positive.

I wish I had taken on an internship or position relative to my career path.

Advice

Even if it doesn't relate to your major, absorb skills that you can use towards whatever career you're pursuing. Ex, if it is a customer service job, work on your people skills and professionalism. Pay attention to your weaknesses in every job position and figure out ways to turn those into strengths. Job interviews love to ask about "weaknesses" and how you overcame them.
