What I wish was different
I was supposed to be working for Evan Guthrie Law firm this summer (Summer 2021) as an intern who writes for the national legal website. After having a very brief phone interview Mr. Guthrie forwarded me more details about the position. Before my first week of working, I had emailed Mr. Guthrie (which he said would be our primary form of communication) asking some specific questions about things he said in his previous email. I received no response to my email. Then the next 2 weeks I emailed him two articles (one for each week) since my internship had started. I received no response to these emails either and I have been continually checking the legal website to which my articles were supposed to be posted, and they have never been posted. A few weeks later, after still not receiving any communication from Mr. Guthrie I messaged him on LinkedIn and called him (on the number he provided me for the phone interview) and left a voicemail for him. I received no responses to either of those as well.
