I was able to interact and play with children that have special needs due to physical disabilities.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to start volunteering earlier in the summer; to volunteer at ECC, one must attend an orientation session, which is only held once a month.
Advice
Get in contact with the volunteering coordinator as early as possible; you will need to fill out forms and obtain some medical records prior to volunteering, so it is best to get that information before the orientation session to begin volunteering as soon as possible.
