I liked being able to see what the work was like for many different professions, such as a social worker, case worker, and an educator. One of my favorite things was getting the opportunity to experience work in the prisons and jails.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more time to shadow the different professions rather than just working next to them. I wish I had more time to experience their day-to-day duties in that profession.
Advice
One piece of advice would have to been to maintain open in any given situation and do not judge a book by its cover. There are a lot of learning opportunities in places that you wouldn’t think at first glance would be.
