Guest Services Agent
February 2018 • Hyannis, MA
What I liked
I really enjoy the position and the people that I work with. Working at the front desk, I have the opportunity to make personal connections with guests that come in and I am responsible for making their stay at the hotel a positive one. It is truly special to work at a job that's purpose is to make people happy.

Advice
Guests can be difficult, but regardless it is our responsibility to make sure that they have a pleasant experience at the hotel. Visibly showing that you are trying to make their experience a positive one can go a long way.

Front Desk Agent
August 2018 • Columbia, SC
What I liked
I love that my only responsibility as a front desk agent is to provide great customer service. I am the first person guests interact upon entering the hotel and I really enjoy being able to make a good first impression for the property. I also enjoy having the downtime/quiet time that I have at work. This gives me lots of time to study and complete homework.
What I wish was different
Nothing.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is that you have to genuinely love providing outstanding customer service to others if you want to be successful in a job such as this one.
