What I liked
This was an incredible summer experience. This internship is educational before anything else. I had the opportunity to sit in on many presentations, explore different incubators/companies on field trips, observe surgical procedures, and network with tons of people in medicine/medical devices. I got hands-on experience prototyping a venous closure device and learned how to 3-D print, heat seal, UV glue, and think like an engineer.
