I liked how I was exposed to a new type of industry. I am not a public relations or communications major but felt like it was insightful to understand how this industry works for my own knowledge. Furthermore, I feel like this organization facilitates a positive experience for students to have their first internship.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have taken on longer-term projects. Because interns were only scheduled to work 1-2 days a week, it was unrealistic to take on your own projects that you could see through from start to finish without having to hand it off to another intern during the days you weren't in the office.
Advice
Definitely work on phone customer service. This was a big component of this job as it is for every public relations or communications job you may have and Frank PR really teaches you and expects you to do this with elegance and competence.
