Franklin Public School is a rural district located in south-central Nebraska. It serves students throughout the county of Franklin, which is predominantly an area of agriculture and small business. The school has a number of quality indicators including a wide variety of course offerings, a large number of extra-curricular offerings, low teacher per student ratio, an experienced and dedicated staff, and parental and community support. Students from Franklin regularly score above state and national averages on achievement tests and the majority of students continue their education and training after graduation. The school received Blue Ribbon Award honors for 2008, and AdvancED accreditation in 2015.
