Meeting new families and kids and just being able to share the Gospel with them. We had events every week in a different county of Iowa and we brought games and bounce houses and the kids love it!
What I wish was different
I wish we had more teams in the internship because loading and reloading the trailer was a lot of work as we had food, grill, games, three bounce houses, etc in the trailer.
Advice
Freedom for Youth Ministries is a non-profit organization and is a great place to be involved in the community as they do a lot of outreach to the community of Iowa and most importantly, its faith-based organization. A great way for teens and adults to get involved and to grow relationships with God as well as build stronger faith.
