What I liked

The culture of Gavilon was awesome. There was a lot of support from my coworkers and boss and they all helped me learn and grow over the summer.

What I wish was different

I wish there was a larger project I had to work on over the summer. There was a presentation but nothing that I could do to add value to the company.

Advice

Come in with an open mind and know you don’t have to know everything about grain to be good at merchandising.

I loved the job and experiencing living in an entirely new area.

Moving there was extremely expensive.

Advice

If you can afford it, take an internship in a place that is outside of your comfort zone! Internships are trial runs!
