I received a very personal experience during my internship, and I was able to gain valuable experience in my field of journalism. I was on the front page of the newspaper in my first week at Gazette Media Group, and I never thought that would happen this summer!
What I wish was different
I wish my internship could've been longer because of how much fun I had there!
Advice
This internship really fell into my lap by chance, but I recommend doing an internship as soon as possible. I learned things this summer that I would never had anywhere else. I was able to do real-life work in my field, and those experiences will allow me to be more successful in the future.
