The culture was so welcoming and geared towards training their interns/new hires so that they could get do real work asap.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been more prepared for living in a brand new city where I didn't know anyone. It took me a while to get into a rhythm, which distracted me from my job at the beginning.

I learned a lot and was able to develop my presentation skills. They also gave us two different mentors that we met with throughout the summer. Finally, I liked the student housing because it allowed the interns to enjoy the summer.

I wish I knew more about the day-to-day work before I started.

I would advise to embrace the challenge and be ready to work hard.

My main issue was trying to find things to do in Macon when I was off the clock.

The other interns were fantastic and the management team over there is great. The internship gives you so much experience in working with teams and presenting to management.

What I wish was different

Many of the presentations occurred during the last 2 weeks which made those weeks pretty stressful.

Be confident. Reach out for help if you need it and don't be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.

Building is old and run down. Group sizes for projects were way too big 8 people in a group.
